We started out in 2010 specializing in AR-15 type parts and accessories and have expanded our product line to include actual firearms of all varieties.

Firearms Unknown works with other industry leaders in manufacturing to provide our customers with top-of-the-line products at the best possible price.

Our Yuma (Retail Store) location:

The Yuma store does do transfers of guns from online purchases.

If you have a gun sent to us for transfer; we will call you when your gun is ready for pickup. 

Our staff usually will get guns received within 24hrs but it can take longer depending on the circumstances surrounding the delivery.   

The cost associated with the transfer for the Yuma store ONLY is as follows:

For customers with a concealed weapons permit: $25 per gun

For customers without a concealed weapons permit: $40 per gun

Our National City location:

The National City store does do gun transfers for firearms purchased online.    

Process for having guns shipped to this location.   

Please contact us to let us know you are having a gun sent to us, additionally please ensure your gun is legal in California. 

The fee associated with transfers is $65 for the first gun and $25 for guns that can be transferred on the same 4473/DROS as the first gun.  Shipments of guns that need to be run in different DROS transactions will be $65 per gun.

The customer is responsible for knowing all of the paperwork requirements.  The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, DROS fees and sales or use tax associated with their purchase.

Note: A $65 fee will be charged to the customer in the event Firearms Unknown receives a firearm and has to send it back to the original sender.  An example of this is if a customer has a handgun sent to us that is not on the CA DOJ handgun roster.

Ammunition Transfers: 

Yes, we do ammunition transfers for ammunition purchased online.   The fee for the transfer is $25 per case of ammunition.   If the shipment is less than a case the minimum fee will be $25.

Shipping:  Please have ammunition shipped to us with Firearms Unknown as the main addressee and with your name as the secondary addressee on the shipping label.

Example:

Firearms Unknown will not be responsible for damaged packages, damaged items, mislabeled packages, or shipping fees.

Buyer assumes all responsibility for shipments sent to us and understands there is a state fee that will be applied to their order.  Additionally, the buyer is responsible for sales/use taxes and all fees charged by Firearms Unknown.

If ammunition is not picked up within 7 days of delivery;  Unless otherwise agreed to;  Firearms Unknown will assess a $5 a day (per case) storage fee to the shipment.

If an order is not picked up within 30 days of delivery, Firearms Unknown will consider the shipment abandoned and the buyer forfeits any claim or right to the shipment.

By having ammunition shipped to any of our store locations, the buyer acknowledges, understands and agrees to these terms.

Our Oceanside location:

As of 8/6/2024, we are open and accepting transfers.
